Herbed Turkey Meatballs with Gravy
Just made these scrumptious Herbed Turkey Meatballs with Gravy – a cozy, comforting meal perfect for any night!
Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Gravy:
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
2 cups chicken broth
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, parsley, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
Transfer the meatballs to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until fully cooked.
In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
Gradually whisk in chicken broth and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Pour the gravy over the cooked meatballs and serve.
