Egg Rolls
Ingredients:
1 package of egg roll wrappers
1 lb ground pork or chicken
1 cup shredded cabbage
1 cup shredded carrots
1/2 cup chopped onions
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Vegetable oil for frying

Directions:
In a large skillet, cook the ground pork or chicken over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the chopped onions and minced garlic. Cook until onions are translucent and garlic is fragrant.
Add the shredded cabbage and carrots to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender.
Return the cooked meat to the skillet. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend together. Remove from heat and let the filling cool slightly.
Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface with one corner pointing towards you. Spoon about 1-2 tablespoons of the filling onto the center of the wrapper.
Fold the bottom corner of the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll tightly towards the top corner. Seal the top corner with a little water to secure the roll.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C).
Carefully place the egg rolls in the hot oil, a few at a time, and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Remove the cooked egg rolls from the oil and drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce, such as sweet and sour sauce or soy sauce.
Enjoy your delicious homemade egg rolls!
