📋 Ingredients:
🫐 1 cup fresh blueberries
🍚 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
🧈 1 cup salted butter, softened
🧀 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
🍚 5 cups powdered sugar
🍦 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
📝 Instructions:
1️⃣ In a 2-quart saucepan, heat the blueberries and granulated sugar over medium heat. 🫐
2️⃣ Use a potato masher to break down the blueberries, cooking for 8 to 10 minutes until the blueberries have reduced to a thick jam-like paste. 🥄
3️⃣ Remove cooked fruit from heat and cool to room temperature. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and refrigerate for faster cooling. ❄️
4️⃣ Beat together the softened cream cheese and butter until light and fluffy. 🧁
5️⃣ Add in vanilla extract and beat until combined. 🍦
6️⃣ Gradually beat in the powdered sugar until the frosting is thick and fluffy. 🍚
7️⃣ Beat in the vanilla extract and then the cooled blueberry reduction. 🍰
