Baked Ravioli Lasagna

Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 packages (25 oz each) frozen cheese ravioli
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil for garnish


Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.
Stir in the marinara sauce, tomato sauce, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce at the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Arrange a layer of frozen cheese ravioli over the sauce.
Spoon half of the remaining meat sauce over the ravioli and sprinkle with half of the mozzarella cheese.
Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese.
Sprinkle the top with grated Parmesan cheese.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
