Apple Crisp Cheesecake Bread
Ingredients:
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sour cream
2 medium apples, peeled and chopped
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, cream together 1 cup granulated sugar and 1/2 cup butter until light and fluffy. Beat in 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Combine 1 1/2 cups flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture alternately with sour cream. Fold in chopped apples. Pour into prepared loaf pan.
In another bowl, beat cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 egg, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla until smooth. Pour over apple batter in loaf pan.
In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cut in 1/4 cup butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over the cream cheese layer.
Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
