📋 Ingredients:

Brownie Ingredients:
🍚 ¾ cup all purpose flour
🧂 ½ tsp salt
🍫 ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
🍫 2 oz unsweetened chocolate, chopped
🧈 1 stick unsalted butter, cubed, 1/2 cup
🍬 1 ¼ cups granulated sugar
🥚 2 large eggs
🥚 1 large egg yolk
🛢️ ¼ cup vegetable oil
🍦 1 tsp vanilla extract

Cheesecake Ingredients:
🧀 1 ½ packages cream cheese, 8 oz packages for a total of 12 oz, room temperature
🍬 ⅓ cup granulated sugar
🍦 1 tsp vanilla extract
🥚 1 large egg
🥚 1 large egg yolk


📝 Instructions:

Make the Brownie Batter
🥣 Prepare the brownie batter first and get that baking in the oven. For a glass 8×8 inch pan, bake for 23-25 minutes until a crust forms. 🍫
🌡️ Look for a color change in the brownies; the top will be lighter and might appear shiny. No batter should stick to your finger. 👆
🔄 Once the crust forms, remove the brownies from the oven and allow them to cool for 5 minutes. 🕐
Make the Cheesecake Batter
4. 🥄 Pour the cheesecake batter over the brownies evenly. Return to the oven and bake for 22-27 minutes. 🍰
🔄 Check on the cheesecake. If still jiggly, tent with aluminum foil and bake for an additional 4-5 minutes. 🧀
🧊 Remove from the oven, cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for 2+ hours. Cut into bars and serve. 🍽️


Notes 💡:

◻️ Allow the cream cheese and eggs to come to room temperature for easier whipping. 🧀
◻️ Overbeating the eggs causes air bubbles and cracking. Mix until the yolk breaks.
