Tracy Park, 43, of New York eventually had four children in just 13 months after four unsuccessful IVF attempts when she was in her forties. The CEO gave birth to Hunter, now 12 years old, when she was 30 years old. He was born naturally in October 2006. Tracy and her 42-year-old husband Peter are not in a rush to have children because of their demanding work schedules. Ten years later, the two start to feel that time is running out and yearn for another kid so that Hunter can stay with them forever. Nevertheless, after a year of trying, their doctor informed them that IVF was their only option because they were unable to conceive naturally.

In order to boost her chances of becoming pregnant in 2016, she opted to explore surrogacy through a brokerage firm after four unsuccessful rounds of IVF. A few months later, she was thrilled to learn that one of her IVF treatments had been successful and she was expecting her second child, Harlow, who was born in August 2017 and is now 18 months old. In the meantime, Tracy and Peter’s surrogate is also expecting not one, but two children, which originally overwhelmed them and made them realize they needed to make room for Peter’s extended family. Her 14-month-old twins Piper and Presley were born in January 2018. Tracy found out she was expecting Dylan, her fifth child, eight months later when they were moving into a bigger house. Dylan is now 16 years old six months old. Born in September 2018.

Tracy and Peter have now shared their experience with their 10,000+ Instagram followers in an effort to inspire individuals to keep pursuing their dream of becoming parents. Tracey says, “I had been trying for a second kid for a year when we decided to do IVF. It was easy for me to get pregnant with my first son at 30, but it was much tougher at 40. My son and I both have full-time jobs. Although things are going well, my husband and I really want to start a family. Trying to get pregnant has been a roller coaster of emotions. IVF takes a month to complete, and then you wait for the results.

Dylan was born prematurely at 29 weeks, weighing only 3 lbs. 6 oz. He spent three months in the neonatal intensive care unit. Since the technology is there, I believe parents should never give up trying to have children unbelievable but be open to different methods like IVF, surrogacy, adoption, raising a child etc.
