Ingredients:

Donuts:
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp active dry yeast
3/4 cup milk (lukewarm)
1 egg (room temperature)
1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
1 egg yolk (room temperature)
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
Vegetable oil (for frying)
Peanut Butter Frosting:
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup unsalted butter (softened)
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk
Peanut Butter Drizzle:
2 tbsp peanut butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp milk
Chocolate Glaze & Topping:
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/3 cup heavy cream
Reese’s peanut butter chips
Crushed peanuts


Directions:

Prepare Dough:
Combine warm milk, 1 tbsp sugar, and yeast. Whisk to dissolve and let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, baking powder, and remaining sugar.
Add egg, egg yolk, melted butter, yeast mixture, and vanilla. Stir until incorporated.
Knead dough on low-medium speed for 5 minutes or by hand for 10 minutes until smooth.
Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
Shape and Proof Donuts:
Cut out 10 squares of parchment paper.
Punch down dough, roll to 1/2-inch thickness on a floured surface.
Cut out donuts, place on parchment squares, cover with plastic wrap, and let proof for 40 minutes until doubled in size.
Fry Donuts:
Heat 2 inches of oil in a heavy pot to 330-350°F.
Fry 2-3 donuts at a time until golden, about 2 minutes per side. Remove to a tray lined with paper towels.
Peanut Butter Frosting:
In a bowl, mix butter and peanut butter on medium until incorporated.
Add powdered sugar and milk, mix on low until combined, then whip on high for 1 minute until fluffy.
Peanut Butter Drizzle:
Mix powdered sugar and milk in a bowl. Add peanut butter and stir until smooth.
Transfer to a piping bag.
Chocolate Glaze:
Microwave heavy cream and chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Dip each donut in the glaze and let set for 5 minutes.
Decorate Donuts:
Top each donut with Reese’s peanut butter chips and crushed peanuts.
Drizzle with peanut butter and chocolate glaze using piping bags.
