Zesty Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings
Ingredients:

2 lbs chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 lemon, zested and juiced
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)


Directions:

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss the wings with baking powder and salt until evenly coated.
Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake for 25 minutes, then flip the wings and bake for an additional 25 minutes, or until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, black pepper, garlic powder, and melted butter.
Remove the wings from the oven and transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the lemon pepper sauce over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve immediately.
