Tropical Mango Strawberry Swirled Slushies
Ingredients:
2 ripe mangoes, peeled, pitted, and diced
1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
1/4 cup sugar (divided)
2 cups ice (divided)
1 cup water (divided)
1 tablespoon lime juice (optional)
Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Directions:
In a blender, combine the diced mango, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 cup of ice, and 1/2 cup of water. Blend until smooth. Pour the mango mixture into a bowl and set aside.
Rinse the blender. Add the sliced strawberries, remaining 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 cup of ice, and 1/2 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
To create the swirled effect, alternately spoon the mango and strawberry mixtures into serving glasses, gently swirling with a spoon to create a marbled look.
For added zing, stir in a teaspoon of lime juice into each glass before swirling.
Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired and serve immediately.
