**Steak with Creamy Mushroom Sauce**
**
Ingredients:**
2 sirloin steaks (about 1 inch thick)
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
**Directions:**
Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steaks and cook until desired doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove steaks and set aside.
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter, onion, and garlic. Sauté until onion is translucent, about 2-3 minutes.
Add mushrooms and cook until they are soft, about 5 minutes.
Stir in heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
Return steaks to the skillet and simmer for an additional minute.
Serve steaks with sauce on top and garnish with fresh parsley
