Perfectly Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Wings
Ingredients:
2 lbs chicken wings, split and tips removed
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
For the Sauce (optional):
1/4 cup hot sauce
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon soy sauce
Directions:
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, combine the baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Toss the chicken wings in the mixture until they are evenly coated.
Arrange the chicken wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook them in batches to avoid overcrowding.
Air fry the wings for 20-25 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
While the wings are cooking, prepare the sauce (if using). In a small bowl, whisk together the hot sauce, melted butter, honey, and soy sauce until well combined.
