How to Make the Most Amazing Chocolate Cake
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon espresso powder
1 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and espresso powder.
Add milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla to flour mixture and mix together until well combined. While beating, slowly add boiling water to the batter until well combined.
Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cakes comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes, then remove from pans and cool completely on a wire rack.
