Hearty Pioneer Woman Cheeseburger Pie

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup Bisquick mix
1 cup milk
2 large eggs
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons yellow mustard
Pickle slices (for topping)
Additional shredded cheddar cheese (for topping, optional)


Directions:

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is soft. Drain any excess fat.
Season the beef mixture with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Spread the beef mixture evenly in the prepared pie dish.
Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the beef mixture.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the Bisquick mix, milk, and eggs until well combined. Pour this mixture over the cheese and beef in the pie dish.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the pie cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Drizzle ketchup and mustard over the top and garnish with pickle slices. Add additional shredded cheddar cheese, if desired.
