Golden Crunchy Fried Chicken Wings
Ingredients:
2 lbs chicken wings, cut into flats and drumettes
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup cornstarch
2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
Oil for frying

Directions:
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings and buttermilk. Let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C).
Remove the chicken wings from the buttermilk, allowing any excess to drip off. Dredge the wings in the flour mixture, ensuring they are well-coated.
Fry the wings in batches for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Ensure they are cooked through with an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Remove the wings from the oil and drain on paper towels.
