Garlic Chicken with Broccoli and Spinach 🥦🍗🌿
📋 Ingredients:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
2 cups broccoli florets
2 cups fresh spinach leaves
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
1 teaspoon cornstarch
Salt and pepper to taste
Red pepper flakes for optional spice
Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
📝Instructions:
1️⃣ In a small bowl, whisk together minced garlic, soy sauce, honey or maple syrup, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt and pepper to make the sauce.
2️⃣ Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken breasts and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes per side. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
3️⃣ In the same skillet, add broccoli florets and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
4️⃣ Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet, along with fresh spinach leaves.
5️⃣ Pour the sauce over the chicken, broccoli, and spinach in the skillet. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
6️⃣ Cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly and the spinach has wilted.
7️⃣ Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed. Add red pepper flakes for optional spice.
8️⃣ Garnish with sesame seeds if desired before serving.
