Easy Creamy Garlic Chicken

Deliciously Easy Creamy Garlic Chicken

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Directions:

Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the skillet.
Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.
Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning sauce over them. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
