Easy Chicken and Cabbage Stir Fry 🥢🍗🥬
📋 Ingredients:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
4 cups shredded cabbage
1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 carrot, julienned
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooked rice for serving
📝Instructions:
1️⃣ In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and grated ginger to make the sauce. Set aside.
2️⃣ Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
3️⃣ Add thinly sliced chicken breasts to the skillet and stir-fry until cooked through and lightly browned, about 4-5 minutes. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
4️⃣ In the same skillet, add shredded cabbage, sliced bell pepper, julienned carrot, and minced garlic. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until vegetables are slightly softened.
5️⃣ Return cooked chicken to the skillet with the vegetables.
6️⃣ Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables in the skillet. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
7️⃣ Continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly and everything is heated through.
8️⃣ Season with salt and pepper to taste.
9️⃣ Serve the chicken and cabbage stir fry hot over cooked rice.
