Deep-Fried Crab Legs
Ingredients:
– 2 pounds of crab legs, thawed if frozen
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– 2 eggs
– 1 cup milk
– 2 cups breadcrumbs
– Oil for frying
Directions:
1. Rinse the crab legs and pat them dry.
2. In a shallow bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
3. In another shallow bowl, beat the eggs and milk together.
4. Place breadcrumbs in a third shallow bowl.
5. Dredge each crab leg first in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg mixture, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
6. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
7. Fry the crab legs in batches for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
8. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
