Creamy Potato and Hamburger Soup 🥔🍔🥣
📋 Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 cups diced potatoes
4 cups beef broth
1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk or heavy cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
📝Instructions:
1️⃣ In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add diced onion and minced garlic, and cook until onion is softened.
2️⃣ Add diced potatoes and beef broth to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
3️⃣ Stir in condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk or heavy cream, shredded cheddar cheese, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the soup is heated through and the cheese is melted.
4️⃣ Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
5️⃣ Remove from heat and let the soup cool for a few minutes before serving.
6️⃣ Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired before serving.
