Creamy Chicken and Rice Bake
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup uncooked long grain white rice
1 ½ cups chicken broth
1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
1 (1 oz) packet onion soup mix
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste


Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. Place uncooked rice in the bottom of the dish.
Lay chicken breasts on top of the rice. Season with salt and pepper.
In a bowl, mix chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, and onion soup mix. Pour over chicken and rice.
Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until chicken is cooked through and the rice is tender.
Optionally, sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and bake until melted.
