Decadent Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream Cake Bliss

Ingredients:

1 package chocolate chip cookie dough (16 oz)
1.5 quarts vanilla ice cream
1 cup mini chocolate chips
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Chocolate sauce for drizzling


Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
Press half of the cookie dough into the bottom of the pan to form an even layer. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool completely.
Soften the vanilla ice cream slightly, then mix in the mini chocolate chips.
Spread the ice cream mixture over the cooled cookie crust, smoothing the top with a spatula. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
Once the ice cream layer is firm, press the remaining cookie dough over the top to form another even layer. Freeze for an additional 2 hours.
In a medium bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Spread the whipped cream over the top layer of cookie dough.
Drizzle with chocolate sauce before serving.
