Scrumptious Honey Garlic Crawfish Fries
Crispy Crawfish Fries with Sweet Honey Garlic Glaze
Ingredients:
1 lb crawfish tails, peeled and deveined
1 cup cornstarch
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Oil for frying
1/4 cup honey
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Green onions, thinly sliced, for garnish
Sesame seeds, for garnish
Directions:
In a bowl, combine cornstarch, salt, and black pepper. Dredge crawfish tails in the cornstarch mixture, shaking off any excess.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C). Fry crawfish tails in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
In a small saucepan, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens slightly, about 2-3 minutes.
Toss fried crawfish tails in the honey garlic sauce until evenly coated.
Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
