Savory Sloppy Joes on Garlic Toast
Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup tomato sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
6 slices Texas toast
1/4 cup butter, softened
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
Stir in the tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and mustard. Season with salt and pepper. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
While the meat mixture is simmering, prepare the garlic bread. Mix the softened butter with garlic powder. Spread the garlic butter on one side of each Texas toast slice.
Place the toast on a baking sheet, buttered side up, and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the toast is golden brown.
Remove the garlic bread from the oven and top each slice with a generous amount of the sloppy joe mixture. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
