Peach Bourbon Meatballs 🍑🥃🍖
📋 Ingredients:
For the Meatballs:
1 pound ground beef or pork
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup milk
1 egg
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing
For the Sauce:
1 cup peach preserves
1/4 cup bourbon
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

📝Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a baking sheet with cooking spray or olive oil.
2️⃣ In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef or pork, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
3️⃣ Shape the mixture into small meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
4️⃣ Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and lightly browned.
5️⃣ While the meatballs are baking, prepare the sauce. In a saucepan, combine peach preserves, bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.
6️⃣ Once the meatballs are cooked, transfer them to a serving dish and pour the peach bourbon sauce over them. Gently toss to coat the meatballs evenly in the sauce.
7️⃣ Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired before serving.
8️⃣ Serve the peach bourbon meatballs hot as an appetizer or main dish, with toothpicks for easy serving.
Notes 💡:
◻️ You can use frozen meatballs instead of making them from scratch to save time.
◻️ Adjust the amount of bourbon according to your preference for alcohol flavor
