🍁 Maple BBQ Hasselback Kielbasa Bites 🌭
📋 Ingredients:
1 pound (450g) kielbasa sausage
1/4 cup (60ml) maple syrup
2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
📝 Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Make Hasselback cuts in the kielbasa sausage, slicing almost all the way through but leaving the bottom intact. Place the sliced kielbasa on the prepared baking sheet.
3️⃣ In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, barbecue sauce, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
4️⃣ Brush the maple BBQ mixture over the sliced kielbasa, making sure to get the sauce into the cuts.
5️⃣ Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, brushing with additional sauce halfway through, until the kielbasa is heated through and caramelized.
6️⃣ Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
