Homemade Peanut Butter Ice Cream
Ingredients:
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup whole milk
1 cup creamy peanut butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Directions:
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream, milk, and sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is warm but not boiling.
Remove from heat and stir in the peanut butter until smooth and fully incorporated.
Stir in vanilla extract and salt.
Let the mixture cool completely.
Pour the cooled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
