Crockpot Angel Chicken 🍗🥘
📋 Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 packet (1 ounce) dry Italian salad dressing mix
1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
Cooked pasta or rice for serving
Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
📝Instructions:
1️⃣ Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
2️⃣ In a bowl, mix together melted butter and dry Italian salad dressing mix. Pour the mixture over the chicken breasts.
3️⃣ In another bowl, combine condensed cream of mushroom soup and dry white wine (or chicken broth). Pour the mixture over the chicken.
4️⃣ Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
5️⃣ About 30 minutes before serving, add softened cream cheese to the crockpot and stir until well combined.
6️⃣ If using, add sliced mushrooms to the crockpot and stir.
7️⃣ Cover and continue cooking for an additional 30 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and the flavors to meld together.
8️⃣ Serve the angel chicken over cooked pasta or rice.
9️⃣ Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired before serving.
