Crispy Fried Cinnamon Bananas with a Hint of Sweetness
Ingredients:
2 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Optional toppings: vanilla ice cream, chopped nuts, whipped cream
Directions:
In a small bowl, mix together the ground cinnamon and a pinch of salt.
Heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat until melted and hot.
Add the sliced bananas to the skillet in a single layer.
Sprinkle the cinnamon mixture over the bananas and drizzle with honey or maple syrup.
Cook the bananas for 1-2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and caramelized.
Remove the skillet from heat and transfer the fried cinnamon bananas to a serving plate.
Serve immediately, topped with your choice of vanilla ice cream, chopped nuts, or whipped cream if desired.
