Chicken Lazone
Ingredients:
2 pounds chicken breast tenderloins
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon white pepper
½ cup butter, divided
3 cups heavy cream
10-12 oz. spaghetti, cooked
Directions:
Prepare the Spice Mixture:
In a bowl, combine garlic powder, salt, onion powder, chili powder, paprika, and white pepper. Set aside 2 teaspoons of the spice mixture for later use.
Season the chicken tenderloins with the remaining spice mixture.
Cook the Chicken:
In a large skillet, heat 3 tablespoons of butter over medium heat until sizzling.
Add half of the seasoned chicken tenderloins to the skillet and cook until nicely browned on both sides. Add 1 more tablespoon of butter if needed, then flip the chicken and brown the other side.
Repeat the process with the remaining chicken and butter. Once browned, remove the chicken from the skillet and cover with aluminum foil to keep warm.
Prepare the Creamy Sauce:
In the same skillet, add the heavy cream and reserved spice mixture.
Heat over medium heat until simmering, stirring slowly. Allow the mixture to simmer for 10-15 minutes or until thick and creamy, stirring occasionally.
Adjust seasoning with additional salt or garlic powder if desired.
Serve:
Serve the chicken and creamy sauce over cooked spaghetti.
For extra flavor, you can immerse the chicken in the sauce just before serving to ensure it’s heated through and coated with the delicious sauce.
