Cheesy Shrimp Tortellini Alfredo Skillet

Ingredients:
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
9 ounces cheese tortellini
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup chopped parsley
Salt to taste
Directions:
Cook the tortellini according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, and sauté until onion is translucent.
Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Lower the heat, stir in heavy cream and Parmesan, and simmer until the sauce thickens.
Add cooked tortellini to the skillet, tossing to coat in the Alfredo sauce.
Season with black pepper and salt, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
