Cajun Shrimp and Steak Alfredo Pasta

Indulging in the best of both worlds with this Cajun Shrimp and Steak Alfredo Pasta tonight! Spicy, creamy, and oh-so satisfying!

Ingredients:

8 oz fettuccine pasta
1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 lb steak, sliced thinly
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning, divided
2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
1 tablespoon butter
1 small onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish


Directions:

Cook fettuccine according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.

Season shrimp and steak slices with 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning each.

Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and cook steak slices until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove steak and set aside.

Reduce heat to medium, add butter to the skillet. Add onion and garlic, and sauté until softened, about 2 minutes.

Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce is smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

Return cooked shrimp and steak to the skillet. Add cooked pasta and toss until everything is coated in the Alfredo sauce.

Serve garnished with chopped parsley.
