Blue Puppy Chow 🐾💙
Perfectly sweet, ideal for parties or just a fun, colorful snack.
Ingredients:
Rice Chex: 6 cups
Royal Blue Candy Melts: 6 ounces
Blue Candy Melts: 6 ounces
Powdered Sugar: 1 cup
Blue Sprinkles: 1 package
Gallon-Sized Plastic Bags: 2
Directions:
Prep Cereal: Divide the Rice Chex into two bowls, 3 cups in each.
Sugar Setup: Pour 1/2 cup of powdered sugar into each of the two gallon-sized plastic bags and set aside.
Melt Candy: Melt 6 ounces of royal blue candy melts according to package instructions. Pour over the cereal in one of the bowls and gently fold in. Add blue sprinkles and stir to combine.
Coat and Shake: Transfer the coated cereal into one of the bags with powdered sugar. Shake until well coated. Spread out on a wax paper-lined baking sheet to cool. Repeat the process with the blue candy melts for the second bowl.
Cool: Allow the puppy chow to cool completely on the baking sheet
